David Perrotti, 72, Of Bridgewater, Founded Popular Cranford Butcher Shop

David Perrotti of Bridgewater died Nov. 24. He was 72 years old.

Born in Italy, he lived in Elizabeth and Milltown before moving to Bridgewater 40 years ago. 

He and his brother Mario founded Perrotti's Quality Meats in Cranford in 1967 and worked there until retiring in 2017. His sons David Jr. and Nicholas continue to run the business. 

He is predeceased by siblings Luiga and John. he is survived by his wife of 43 years, Irene (nee Kaminski) Perrotti; and his other children, Debra Ianniciello and her husband Robert; son David's wife Jodie and son Nicholas's wife Ashley; grandchildren Robbie, Michael, Joseph, David III, Madison, Victoria, Grace and one on the way; and siblings Tommy, Gerry, Adam, Lydia, Mario and Sara.

When not working he enjoyed antique cars, friendly wagers among family and a good joke. 

Arrangements were by Higgins Home for Funerals, Watchung. Entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge.
